Patrick Kolks is entering his second year as the Athletic Director of Oldenburg Academy. Kolks is an alum of Oldenburg, graduating in 2010. While he was a student, he played: tennis (3 years), Cross-Country (1 year), basketball (4 years), and baseball (4 years). During his time, he was the first recipient of the Franciscan Service Award for completing in more than 500 hours of service and volunteering. He had assisted in many ways as the right-hand person of the Athletic Director, and also helped with fundraising for OASIS Athletic Boosters. After he graduated, he attended Thomas More College (known now as Thomas More University) and played 4 years of baseball. On the baseball field, he helped lead the team to 2 Presidents’ Athletic Conference tournament titles, and 3 NCAA DIII Baseball Regional Semi-Finalist. Off the field, Kolks majored in accounting with a minor in business administration. After college he worked in various positions with Fidelity Investments in Covington, KY for just under 5 years. In 2017, he had earned his Series 7 and 63 financial licenses. Kolks is also an assistant baseball coach to head coach Doug Behlmer.
Kolks currently lives in Lawrenceburg with his wife, Emily and their 3 animals – Dory (English Bulldog), Ellie (beagle) and Daisy (cat). In his free-time, Kolks loves to cook and entertain.
