OA falls to 0-3 on the season as we lost 1-0 to Southwestern Shelby. The Twisters are seeing improved play in some areas, but still not getting much offense on the year. Southwest Shelby for the most part dropped 9 players and even, at times,10 behind the ball which makes it a little hard to get shots off. “The goal we gave up was a 50/50 ball that we didn’t clear and then mishandled in the box. We have to do a better job of communicating with our teammates.” Coach Getz said.

The Twisters had 8 shots with 4 on goal, 3 off-sides, 8 fouls, 2 corners and Chris Hautman had 4 saves. Southwestern Shelby scored in period 1 at 16:59 as the ball was rolling around in the 6-yard box. They had 7 shots with 5 on goal, 10 fouls, 5 corners and their keeper had 4 saves. The Twisters look to get their first win on the year Wednesday as they host Landmark Christian at Gillespie Park in Batesville. Varsity will start 5:00, followed by JV.
