OA Softball vs North Decatur

OA Softball Wins Senior Night! Moves on to Rising Sun Sectional

OA Softball went 1-1 this week in preparation for next week’s sectional game at Rising Sun. Tuesday the Twisters welcomed the Mohawks of Waldron to the cemetery and came out on top in a 13-2 win. The Indiana Coaches of Girls Sport Association has informed OA that softball player Cora Weisenbach has been named Softball Academic All State Team-Honorable Mention! The OA Softball Team advanced to the second round of sectionals on Monday with a 14-9 memorial day win. The Twisters move on to Tuesday night’s sectional second round, with a 7PM first pitch vs Jac Cen Del.

OA Baseball Downs Greenwood Christian 6-1

On a deceivingly cold day, the Twisters were able to heat up their bats, while the Cougars of Greenwood Christian never were able to do the same. Junior pitcher Cory Schumann pitched the full 7 innings for the complete game for the Twisters, as GCA wasn’t able to mount many scoring opportunities throughout the ballgame.
