John Pelzel at Swim State Meet

Congratulations to John Pelzel, who recently represented Oldenburg Academy in the IHSAA Boys Swimming and Diving State Tournament on Friday, February 26th!  John qualified for state in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 59.55 at Columbus Sectionals.  John entered sectionals with a seed time of 104:11 and dropped  3.6 seconds to finish with

John Pelzel at State Swim Competition

John Pelzel attended the State Swim competition on Friday, February 26th. He had qualified earlier at sectionals with a time of 59.55 in the 100 Breaststroke, giving him the 25th spot prior to the state meet. Last night the Oldenburg Academy swim team competed against Lawrenceburg High School and East Central. Tomorrow marks an exciting day in OA history as John Pelzel becomes the first male OA swimmer to participate at the state level!!!!
